IBM ODBC Driver Installer fails due to Privileges

While installing the IBM ODBC driver, you might get the following error message:

To resolve this, disable UAC (this is an IBM driver requirement), reboot and retry.

To disable UAC:

1.Go to Start > Control Panel .

2.Search for UAC and pull the slider to Never notify .

3.Restart your computer and install the ODBC driver.

4.After the driver has been installed, click on Check for driver in the Report Tool.

Please note that to connect to Unity Connection the ODBC Proxy service in the Unity Connection Serviceability needs to be started. Please refer to Cisco Unity Connection: How to Enable Database Access .

If it does not work, reboot the PC. After installation, enable UAC again.
