This section lists the Cisco IP phone models that are supported, not supported, and partially supported to remotely control a phone by UPLINX Remote Phone Control Tool.
Phone models with asterisks (*) are the ones that are partially supported, and their limitations are noted at the end of this section. Note: See the following for a list of supported phones to deploy background images, and here for CTL/ITL supported phones.

Lamp Status on Buttons
Lamp status colors on phone buttons, indicating status of DND, Hunt Group login, Privacy etc. Support all phone lines including Add-on modules except 69xx phone series.
Expansion Modules
•7914 - 14 buttons
•7915 - 12 / 24 buttons are supported
•7916 - 12 / 24 buttons are supported
•88xx KEM: CP-BEKEM, CP-8800-A-KEM, CP-8800-V-KEM. (up to 2 x KEM on 8851 and 3 x KEM on 8861 fully controllable)
Please note that these show a simulated screenshot based on CUCM configuration as screenshot cannot be retrieved from Expansion Modules/KEM.
Limitations
* Note that there are phones that are not fully supported due to CISCO firmware limitations. Consequently, there will be supported phones that have the following restrictions:
•8941, 8945: Redial button  and Hide Video button  are not supported.
•6921 only screen is supported, all keys are not supported.
•6941, 6945, 6961, 9971: Conference key  , Hold key  , Transfer key  are not supported.
•7921,7925, 7926: Onhook key  , Offhook key  are not working. When inside the 'Settings' menu, phone does not honor remote keys sent.
•8821: Onhook and Offhook key are not working.
•3905 and 3911 phones are not supported due to missing support for CTI control or no screen shot.
•7832 and 8832 Mute button status not reflected
